Based in Cape Town South Africa Luna have been producing post modern rustic frames and other small décor items from reclaimed timber since 1996. Realizing that they could empower large numbers of people in the exploitation of this unrecognized resource, they initiated production of commercial quantities, and now create sustainable incomes for a large number of local homeless people who they employ to scour the Cape Town City Bowl in search of raw materials.

Each Luna product is handcrafted from reclaimed timber and is therefore unique.

Although outside dimensions, weight and thickness varies, window sizes are consistent. Products are finished with wax (beeswax on request) or waterbased glazecoat as appropriate and then fumigated using a combination of Boron gas and heat (fumigation certificates available on request).

We are also able to supply a selection of themed images for the frames. These and our regular development of new ranges have been an important part of our success in the retail market.
